Alexus completed her B.Sc in Kinesiology at Laurentian University in 2017. After a summer as a research assistant in the Laboratory of Environmental Exercise Physiology, she moved on to a Master’s of Human Kinetics (MHK) studying the influences of temperature on exercise physiology in humans. As part of her MHK, she gained international experience in Helsinki, Finland for the summer of 2019, examining motivation role on activating people from their sedentary lifestyles.
Alexus continued in clinical research by joining Medicor in the Fall of 2019 as an Administrative Research Assistant, transitioning to full-time Clinical Research Coordinator in March 2020. Currently she is working with Sudbury Gastroenterologists and Family Physicians on their clinical research studies. She is excited to continue to grow and learn more with our company. The highlight of her experience as CRC is the opportunity to get to know her patients, and finding the best way possible to help them.
