Gabriel graduated with a BSc. in Biochemistry from Laurentian University in 2012. He continued his studies at Laurentian as a graduate student and completed his PhD. in Biomolecular Sciences in 2017. During academia, he was involved in several studies. Some of his work includes looking at the genetic variation and gene expression of metal resistant genes in plants. His scientific research has been published in several high-peer reviewed journals. He’s received several awards for his academic excellence and research. For instance, he received the Laurentian University Top Research and Innovation Achievement award in 2016. He is our in-house expert in molecular biology techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, and RNA-seq), bioinformatics and statistics on large datasets.
